A flat style may suit flat items, while a gusset can make bulky products easier to pack. Confirm in your quote whether the gusset measurement is folded or open. For an adhesive-strip style, specify the inner length separately from the flap allowance. When checking a sample, make sure the product fits and the bag closes without putting strain on the seals.
