Stretch film is a packaging film made from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) that wraps by stretching and clinging to itself. It turns palletised loads into a single block, reducing the risk of tipping, shifting, dust and moisture during transport and storage.
We produce light rolls for hand wrapping and jumbo rolls for pallet wrapping machines. We can choose the thickness, width and colour together to suit your load.
Comparing hand and machine stretch film
| Selection point | Hand stretch film | Machine stretch film |
|---|---|---|
| Wrapping method | Manual wrapping by an operator | Pallet wrapping machine |
| Equipment details for a quote | Hand dispenser used and a roll that is comfortable to carry | Machine model, core internal diameter, pre-stretch system |
| What to check during a trial | Ease of wrapping, punctures at corners, load loosening | Breaks at settings, wrapping consistency, consumption per pallet |
| Cost comparison | Net film and wrapping labour together | Net film, rewinding and machine settings together |
Daily pallet volume alone is not enough to make a decision. Load shape, existing equipment and employees’ wrapping practices also matter. The guide to choosing stretch film for pallets explains selection and consumption checks in more detail. For packaging that shrinks with heat, shrink film is a separate product group.

Questions
Frequently asked questions about Stretch Film
What is stretch film?
Stretch film is a packaging film made from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) that wraps by stretching and clinging to itself. It turns palletised loads and groups of cartons into a single block, reducing the risk of tipping, shifting, dust and moisture during transport and storage. It is applied without tape or heat.
What types of stretch film are there?
There are two main types by application: light hand stretch film for manual wrapping, and machine stretch film in heavier rolls for pre-stretch pallet wrapping machines. Narrow mini stretch films, such as 10–20 cm wide, are used for small packs, profiles and cables. We make all types in clear, white and coloured versions.
Should I choose hand or machine stretch film?
If you wrap only a few pallets a day or do not have a wrapping machine, hand stretch film is sufficient. For regular, high-volume pallet wrapping, machine stretch film uses less film per pallet thanks to pre-stretch and speeds up wrapping. Tell us your daily pallet count and we will find the right solution together.
How do I choose stretch film thickness?
We make it to your required thickness; the choice depends on load weight, how sharp the corners are and how far the load travels. Thin film is economical for light, even loads; thicker film protects heavy, sharp-edged or long-distance loads against punctures and tears. Our production range is 9–35 microns.
Where is stretch film made, and which provinces do you deliver to?
We make our stretch film to order at our facility in Merkezefendi, Denizli. We deliver to all 81 provinces of Türkiye; the total time from order confirmation to delivery is 2–7 days. We deliver within Denizli and a 100 km radius using our own vehicles, and to other provinces by freight carrier. There is no minimum order quantity; for international deliveries, we specify the method and lead time in the quote.
