What are sheeting rolls and PE covers used for?
Furniture protection film and moving covers
For those looking for furniture or household goods protection film, PE covers can be used to cover the outer surfaces of sofas, cupboards and other large items. Choose a width and length that cover the entire surface of the item. Corners and delicate surfaces that may be knocked need extra protection; hand stretch film can be used to keep the cover in place.
Pallet covers and warehouse protection
A plastic pallet top cover can be made to size to cover the top of the goods. The load height, pallet dimensions and method of securing the cover are important. Tell us how long it will be left outdoors and how much sun exposure it will have; long-term UV resistance should not be assumed for standard film.
Protection film for painting and renovation
Protection film for painting can be laid over floors or goods during renovation to help reduce splashes and dust reaching the surface directly. If used on the floor, assess the risk of slipping and tearing according to the working conditions. If you need packaging that shrinks with heat to wrap around a product, shrink film sheet is a different option.
For outdoor covers, consider more than thickness
Specify how much of the top and sides the cover should protect, how it will be secured and how long it will be left outdoors. Open edges, wind and sharp corners can affect protection. Thicker film alone does not provide UV resistance or a waterproof seal. A cover and stretch film can be considered together to suit the pallet dimensions.

Are pallet covers used together with stretch film?
Often, yes. Stretch film wraps the sides of the load to help secure it, while the pallet cover covers the top. Protection against rain and dust depends on the cover size, how the edges are closed and secured, and how long the pallet is left outdoors. For pallets that will be left outside or travel long distances, we can consider these details together.
